And there I went, visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
I went super early, after all, I really love sunrises and I hate crowded places. So 5 am I was there at the gates of the Taj Mahal, the queen’s mausoleum.

The place was practically empty, by Indian standards 😂, and while I found myself going through the gates and going down the stairs to face this beauty, the history of this place came to me.
Based on a lady making beads whose name has not been revealed or forgotten over time, the mausoleum was built by the king for his loved queen.

Formerly married to another, the king who loved her very much, ordered the death of the other so that he could free her and marry his love. With her death, the king wanted to express his pain by building the best eternal bed ever.
Using almost all the wealth of royalty, he hired the most talented artisans, the most renowned architects, the best builders and started, out of love, what would be one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

He demanded perfect symmetry between the sides of the building in each part of the project, perfection in every detail, and exactly in the center of this world, the wife’s tomb.
He also demanded madness, when the masterpiece was finished, he had all the workers’ hands cut and all the engineers and architects killed so that they could not reproduce the work or any detail of it ever again in their lives.

He wanted to build his own, in front of his wife’s mausoleum so that the two could be together forever, but the son, sick of this madness, took the throne and denied the father’s request. And when he died he was buried beside his wife, ending all the symmetry of the dream. Ironies of destiny.
At that moment, standing on the stairs admiring the greatness of the Taj Mahal, I could only think how much I wanted someone to love me that way. And then my eyes sweat a little 😭😂.
My mom doesn’t count ok ?!
Okay, okay, okay. Let’s wake up. This is just beautiful on paper, imagine a guy being so obsessed to the point of having people’s hands cut off or killing everyone who did something for you ?! Dude, this guy raised the concept of a toxic relationship, it became nuclear.
